There are people out there that exhibit behaviour that sucks the energy and life out of us with their excessive negativity, gossip, and selfishness. And consequently, we end up regretting.
This article is all about how to stop regretting and move on in life.
- Take a deep breath in through your nose.
- Let it out through your mouth.
What other people do is about them. It is never about you. This person has issues. I’m sorry you feel hurt. Breathe, and hold your sadness and hurt with gentleness, like a small bird. Kiss it, and let it fly away. Life is shorter than you know. By yourself, thank this person for bringing you exactly the lesson you needed to learn right now. This person is just a delivery man. The Universe sent you a lesson. Look within yourself, and figure out what this experience showed you, that you didn’t know before.
Remember this lesson, if you can. The Universe will keep making you repeat the same lessons until you learn them. The person doesn’t matter. He’s just an actor to teach you the lesson. He’s off duty now. Let him go learn his own lesson somewhere else without you.
Be grateful for everything. Even things that don’t feel great. There is a lesson in everything, and you came here to learn them.
Life is hard sometimes. There is no need to make it harder by surrounding yourself with people who are not kind. And it is more than just being kind to you, it’s being kind to everyone.
Compassion is about general kindness and concern for all people, the people that matter to us and those we don’t even know. Ask yourself this, “Do you really want to surround yourself with people who have no concern for the suffering of others?”
