I’m seriously in LOVE with my morning routine so I’d share it in a little more detail with you. In this post, I will show you how my weekend morning looks like.
Weekends are my favourite …it’s my time to relax, get some blog work in and spend some quality time with my loved ones. So I thought I’d give you a little peek into my usual weekend morning routine — my weekend afternoons/evenings differ, but for the most part, my mornings are pretty much the same.
Following a system first thing in the morning, means you’ll have more time to reflect in a quiet atmosphere (less hustle and bustle) and it gives you the opportunity to be organized for the rest of the day.
8am | Alarm Goes Off
My goal is to actually get out of bed between 7:15 and 7:30am, but that rarely happens to be it a weekday or a weekend. Since my office starts at 11:30 so I think I have time to sleep. Getting up 8 is not late though, what you say?
First and foremost thing which I do is after brushing my teeth I eat an apple and do a quick exercise, during weekdays I go to the gym in the evening after my office gets over but on weekends I do a little bit at home.
9 am | Make Breakfast, Shower and Get dressed.
I turn on the geyser after an exercise and head into the Kitchen and start making breakfast for myself, I live alone so all I have to do it for myself. My patent breakfast is Muesli, I usually mix it with chilled cow milk. I am a person who loves milk before having this I drink a cup of milk too.
While having breakfast I either stand near the balcony or watch outside from my window, this gives me feeling which is hustle free and calm, sometimes I turn pages of the fashion magazine or any novel that I am reading, currently, I am fond of Adultery by Paulo Cohelo, if you have not read it yet I will definitely recommend it.
